JIT Submitted the Report SC Regarding Shahid Masood’s Claim- HumSub.Tv
Joint Investigation Team submitted its report to the Supreme Court on Thursday regarding renowned television anchor Dr. ShahidMasood’s claims about six-year-old Zainab’s killer Imran Ali that he was the holder 37 foreign accounts.
JIT described that all eighteen witness presented by Masood were false and baseless.
The anchorperson Dr. ShahidMasood had asserted during a late night show that Zainab’s rapist and murderer, Imran Ali, was a member of a pornography gang which also included a minister from Punjab. During earlier hearings of the case, he had also told the court that the Imran Ali has 37 foreign accounts.
However, his claims about the bank accounts were rejected by the State Bank of Pakistan in its report to the joint investigation team that was formed earlier by the Punjab government to investigate the claims of Dr. ShahidMasood regarding the rape and murder of Zainab.
Another JIT that was separately formed by the Supreme Court of Pakistan to investigate Masood’s claims. The report of JIT that was formed by the SC submitted its report to the court on 1st March 2018, that Masood was unable to support any of his claims with evidence regarding the rape and murder of Zainab.
The report said that ShahidMasood’s blames and claims regarding the killer belonging to an international group connected to child pornography are false and baseless that there is no proof regarding the existence of any international bank accounts in Imran Ali’s name.
The report of JIT asserted, “The convict is a poor man and there is no evidence of any international bank accounts in his name”. The report also said, “we did not find a political influence behind Imran Ali’s case.Earlier, Chief Justice of Supreme Court Mian Saqib Nisar warned Dr. ShahidMasood of serious consequences if his claims proved to be false.
