PPP issues show cause notice to Mir Baz upon calling Rehman Malik “Meera”
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has issued a show cause notice to its former federal minister Mir Baz Khetran upon calling former interior minister Rehman Malik “Meera”.
According to an issued notification from PPP, an explanation has been sought from Mir Baz upon calling former Interior Minister of PPP Rehman Malik “Meera of PPP”.
Through show cause notice , Mir Baz has been asked to explain his position as to why disciplinary action should not be initiated against him for resembling Rehman Malik with Meera.
It is vital to mention here that during panama case hearing in SC, and during media talk, journalists asked a question from Mir Baz that Rehman Malik either appeared before JIT after consultation with party leadership or he appeared on his own?
Replying to question Mir Baz said that Rehman Malik appeared before panama JIT on his own and also he is a Meera of PPP therefore no code of conduct is applicable to him.
Rehman Malik recorded his protest before Party leadership after the news were published and party has issued a show cause notice to Mir Baz over it.
