Cause

A claim on the basis of cause relates to the reason and impact situation. For instance, one situation is the reason behind the impact on another situation. The questions to catered here are the reasons to why its in the contemporary situation, what led to it and why. It also takes into account the impact or the consequences that would follow from it; both in the short and long run.

Value

A claim on the basis of value is related to the usefulness or extent of benefit, based on some specific criteria. It considers whether it is morally right or wrong.

Policy

A claim on the basis of policy refers to suggestions and recommendations. They fight in favour or against an issued being faced. It includes what can be done about a situation and how.
