Komal Rizvi Is Coming Back To Acting As A Film Artist: Well-known singer, coke studio star and a Tv drama actress Komal Rizvi, has decided to make a comeback in acting but this time she wants to become a film artist. Born in dubai and raised in England, Komal started her career in Pakistan and got hit in 1997 with her Drama “Hawaain”.
Komal Wants To Work In LollyWood
Komal wants to navigate the acting industry at all levels. “Looking back at Pakistan”, she cited, “its filming industry has gone much ahead and I am hoping to put all my efforts for the movies in the coming days”. Actress-cum-singer stated that the film industry in Pakistan is doing really well and watching the film stars appearing at the Oscars has really motivated me to completely set foot in acting.
Komal Debut In HollyWood Film Afreen
Afreen may be Komal Rizvi’s debut film but she is a no beginner when it comes to acting. Afreen is a hard core political film in which she is cast as an Iraqi refugee Crav Maga instructor, lead role of the movie. The film, titled Afreen, would be released next year and it would be entertaining for the fans to see “Bao Jee” and Coke Studio’s “Washmaley” pop star on a holly wood screen.
Afreen is being directed by Indian-Canadian director Ashish Chanana, who has already done a docu mentary film and one short film.
It is an anti-Daesh film now that Pakistan has taken a strong anti-Daesh stance it should not be put on a ban. Crav Maga instructor is an Israeli Martial Art technique learnt by Special Forces and Komal did training for two months and was on a strict diet.
Komal In Bollywood
Abhishek Sharma offered her a role in his next comedy and she loved the script but the role was too bold for her. “As an actor I represent Pakistan, and I do care about this”. She stated in an interview. “I have a lot of family in India and I have friends who have family here. There is absolutely no difference between India and Pakistan that cannot be resolved with respect and dialogue”.
The actress had worked in “Kabhi Kabhi”, “Teesra Peher” and “Samandar Hai Darmiyan” TV serials and has acted in a total of seven drama serials. She also performed as a host on TV channels in Pakistan and India.
