Orion Span First Luxury Hotel In Space: Everyone is talking about first luxury hotel in space. It looks alluring to every mind but let’s see what it really is and who really can go in space.

Orion Span is the company who has made an announcement about the world’s first luxury hotel in space. A Texas Houston US based entrepreneur CEO and founder of Orion Span Frank Bunger, has launched a plan to build the first hotel in space and reservations are already open.

At the Space 2.0 Summit in San Jose, California on Thursday, April 5^th Orion Span unveiled their plans for “Aurora Station”.

Features Of Aurora Station

Aurora is a planned modular space station, capable of hosting six (4 guests & 2 crew members) people at a time. The hotel will orbit Earth every 90 minutes, which means guests, will see around 16 sunrises and sunsets every 24 hours. That is a super cool thing!!!!

Cost

The 12 day adventure costs 9.5 million dollars per person. Orion Span has already started taking reservations with an $80,000 deposit which is also fully refundable. Orion span has scheduled to welcome its first group of guests in 2022.

Requirement For Going In Space Hotel

Guests are required to complete a 3 month training course. This course will be half online and half of the training course will be at the company’s facility in Houston, Texas.

Facilities For Guests

Aurora Station “has multiple uses beyond serving as a hotel.”

Guests will be warmly greeted with an experience when they will arrive at Aurora Station on a partner spaceflight.
As per Orion Span, guests will be able take part in “research experiments such as growing food while in orbit” and keep touch with people on Earth via high-speed Internet. It plans to offer fully chartered trips to space agencies and support zero gravity research and space manufacturing.
The hotel will also be equipped with a virtual reality “holodeck” having High speed Wi-Fi.
Guests will have an opportunity to photograph their hometown from space.

CEO Orion Span shared that “Upon launch, Aurora Station will go into service immediately, bringing travellers into space quicker and at a lower price point than ever seen before, while still providing an unforgettable experience.”

Bunger is also confident that there is a future in space real estate and has announced plans to launch the world’s first houses in space as Orion span next mission.
