Alibaba Group E-Founders Initiative Has Enrolled Five Pakistani Entrepreneurs

Alibaba Group E-Founders Initiative Has Enrolled Five Pakistani Entrepreneurs: Out of 37 Asia Entrepreneurs participants, five entrepreneurs from Pakistan got selection in the “e-Founders Initiative” of Alibaba group. United Nations Conference on Trade & Development authority (UNCTDA)will be a partner of Alibaba to empower 1,000 entrepreneurs from developing countries in five years.

The final candidates for this program from Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam were selected after a stern process.

Entrepreneurs from Pakistan Who Got Selected are

  • Hamza Iftikhar from DealSmash,
  • Anum Kamran from Buyon.pk,
  • Furquan Kidwai from Dawaai.pk,
  • Muhammad Komail from FindMyAdventure,
  • and Shazil Mehkri from Sastaticket were selected for the global program from Pakistan.

These selected entrepreneurs will participate in lectures and discussions with local practitioners and executives to identify the lessons that can be applied to their own markets. They will go on an intensive course providing first hand exposure to e-commerce innovations from China and around the world and become eFounders Fellows. As eFounders fellows they will make formal commitments on how they will apply the learning from this program.

Enrollment Criteria of Alibaba Business School For The Program

  • the candidate should be under the age of 35
  • working in the digital and technology space operating open platforms related to e-commerce, payment, logistics, big data or tourism
  • be an authentic, open-minded and altruistic leader of the new economy
  • be at an inflection point in their careers
  • looking to move from success to significance with integrity, vision and drive
  • be a founder or co-founder of an officially registered digital technology venture
