Macron and Turnbull lead world condemnation of London attack: The global condemnation of Saturday 5th, June, 2017’s, London terror attack was lead by the French President Emmanuel Macron.

The attack had left dozens of people dead and injured.

According to the French foreign ministry, a French citizen was among those killed; the ministry has also said that dozens of people injured included French people.

President Macron phoned the UK Prime Minister Theresa May, he told the British Prime Minister “more than ever at Britain’s side.

Along with them a Canadian citizen was also killed, and two Germans were injured, one critically.

So far no names of the killed have been released.

Talking about the event, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in a statement said “I am heartbroken that a Canadian is among those killed” he added that Canada stood with the UK.

Meanwhile, the Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said that his “prayers and resolute solidarity” were with the British. He said that Two Australians were affected, but that number was later increased to three.

After the incident Mr Macron was the first leader to react.

In the face of this new tragedy, France is more than ever at Britain’s side. My thoughts go out to the victims and their loved ones.” He added that “France will continue to fight terrorism with all its powers, alongside the United Kingdom and all affected countries.

The office of the President described the attack as “new abominable, cowardly attack on our free societies.

In recent months France also has experienced several attacks, which included a deadly shooting on the Champs-Elysees days before its presidential elections, and a machete attack outside the Louvre Museum.

In a gesture of solidarity with the British, the lights on the Eiffel Tower in Paris will be turned off on Sunday.

US, European and Commonwealth leaders have also rallied around the UK.

US President Donald Trump tweeted a message of support to the UK.
