Other activities he indulged in and passed his time with included making conversations with himself and others and reminiscing old times, people and places. He would also often live in a makeshift fantasy life, interacting with women or looking at the world through his spyglass at random intervals.

A distinctive learning he gathered and put across to the reader is that even though one forfeits in the present life, s/he should never give up on the “the promise of a future” of the world of the living beings. He repeatedly makes note of the endless possibilities and indescribable things/events the future can hold. Even if one is feeling anxious in their present lives, they should welcome the future as there is no limit to the prospects of the future.
