Caretaker Government Approved An Agreement With Sudan For Cooperation In Human Resource: Caretaker Prime Minister Justice (R) Nasir-ul-Mulk chaired a meeting of the Federal Cabinet at PM Office here on Friday.
The Cabinet accorded its approval to signing of an MoU between the Governments of Pakistan and Sudan for cooperation in human resource development. Pakistan and Sudan enjoy close and cordial relations and consider Annual Bilateral Political Consultations a useful forum to review progress in cooperation in various fields, identify opportunities for future strengthening bilateral relations.
In 2016, Pakistan-Sudan People’s Friendship Association was inaugurated here yesterday with the aim to increase people to people contact between the two states already twinned in multifaceted relations.

Pakistan and Sudan have built good relations in the field of education as Sudanese students continue to seek admission in Pakistani colleges and universities.
The contacts between the businessmen of the two countries are on the rise and would certainly boost bilateral trade. Around 2,000 Pakistanis are residing in Sudan and doing small-scale businesses but there is a lot of potential to work together in the fields of mutual interest. There are a lot of opportunities that need to be explored.
Cabinet hoped that signing this agreement would go a long way in promoting relations between the two countries in the fields of research & intellect, education, agriculture, health, business, trade and commerce, culture, tradition and tourism, youth cooperation, and peace and harmony.
The Cabinet accepted resignation of Managing Director Bait-ul-Mal Barrister Abid Waheed Sheikh and approved giving additional charge of pakistan Bait-ul-Mal to Additional Secretary Cabinet Division.
The Government of Pakistan’s US Dollars Denominated Amnesty Bonds Rules, 2018 were approved by the Cabinet.
The Cabinet expressed condolences over the demise of veteran diplomat JamsheedMarker and paid a glowing tribute to his services in the field of diplomacy for the country.
