Chairman Pakistan Interfaith League (PIL) Strongly Condemn The Murder Of Sunil Masih: Yesterday in a tragic incident in Lahore Sunil Masih, an employee of Motorway police, lost his life. In a conflict that aroused in the Services hospital, security and medical staff ruthlessly beated Sunil and his brothers. As a result of this mistreatment, Sunil went into a critical condition and lost his life. As per sources, the argument had started after a woman doctor on duty at the ward allegedly asked a nurse to attend to the patient’s needs while she was taking a phone call.

Shadman police have registered a murder case against doctors, security guards and other staff members and has started investigation.

While expressing deep condolence to the family of Sunil, Chairman Pakistan Interfaith League (PIL) Sajid Ishaq, Dr. James Shera Former Mayor Rugby Uk and Patron-In-chief Pakistan Interfaith League, Canon Fr. Falak Sher Advisory board member OPF from Manchester and President of PIL UK chapter, have strongly condemned the brutal killing of Sunil Masih and termed it as a shameful act. They said that violent activities against the minorities should be stopped on urgent basis and urged Punjab government to provide them with maximum security and protection. They demanded the Chief justice of Supreme Court to strictly take suo moto notice of this incident and announce measures for the protection of minorities to avoid such incidents in future.
