Eid Holidays in Pakistan: It is expected as Ramadan had started on Thursday 17th May 2018 in Pakistan, Secretary-General General Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council (RHRC) Khalid Ejaz Mufti shared this piece of information that Eid ul Fitr holidays will start on Thursday, June 14th and end on Sunday, June 17th or Monday, June 18th 2018.

If Ramadan observes 29 and 30 fasting days Eid will be on the 14th and 15th of June 2018. With this prediction, we can assume that Eid ul Fitr holidays will start on Thursday, June 14th, and end on Sunday, June 17th or Monday, June 18th.

Students are already be enjoying 3 months long summer vacation holidays during this time but the office workers and staff can look forward to a long weekend.

As Ramadan got started 9 days ago, many institutions are still open and will be closed from next week. The Punjab government and Sindh government announced early Summer Vacations so that students can relax at home and fast with ease.

Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah approved the summary submitted to the Chief Minister House earlier requesting early summer vacations in schools throughout the province. Also, Education Minister Rana Mashood Khan announced that all the private and Public/government schools in Punjab summer vacations start from May 17th 2018.

For moon sighting of Shawal the Islamic month of Eid ul fitr, Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee would be meeting in the provincial capital of Sindh. The meeting will be led by Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman.

Eid-ul-Fitr is an important festivity celebrated by Muslims all around the globe after they fast for 29 or 30 days. It marks the end of Ramadan.
