Homemade Masks For Allergic Skin: Some women are blessed with a flawless skin. Some of us however, are not that lucky! Exposure to sun, chemicals and even some makeup products can irritate the skin leading to redness, blotchiness and acne.
Though anti-allergies can alleviate some of the symptoms, they can’t be taken everyday. One of the tips for skin allergy treatment is to use homemade masks and we are sharing a few of them with you!
Honey and Carrot Mask
Carrots are rich in vitamin A and honey is rich in natural antioxidants which are both perfect for soothing an irritated skin. All you need is 2/3 cup of boiled carrots and a tablespoon of honey. Mix them together in a bowl to form a paste and you have your mask all ready.
Apply it on your face for 10-15 minutes and then wash it off with cold water. Pat dry your face and don’t forget to appreciate your glowing skin in the mirror!
Oatmeal and Yogurt Pack
Nothing feels as good as a soothing face mask on irritated, sensitive skin. Oatmeal and yogurt do just that. This mask is super-easy to make. All you need to do is to mix equal amounts of yogurt and oatmeal into a paste and then apply it on your face. Let it dry and use a steamed washcloth to gently wipe it off. You’ll immediately feel the difference.
Egg and Almond Mask
This hydrating mask is for dry and sensitive skin. Take 4-5 almonds, grind them into a paste and add an egg to this paste. Apply this mask on your face and leave it on for at least 20 minutes. Use lukewarm water to rinse it off. Egg is chock full of proteins and is good for nourishing your skin. Ground almonds act as a gentle scrub and are full of anti-oxidants.
One of the most common tips for Skin allergy treatment is to use all-natural Aloe-Vera gel as a face mask. It not only soothes the irritated and sensitive skin but it is also very effective in the treatment of sun burns.
