Maryam Nawaz corrected by foreign journalist who exposed Panama Leaks: German investigative reporter Bastian Obermayer schooled Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz on the Panama Papers scandal after she claimed that the leaked documents were never about corruption.
“Panama papers were never about corruption. Even the stealers & hackers (read originators) didn’t say it was. Losers in imminent danger,” was what Maryam Nawaz tweeted, to which the German investigative reporter replied with a tweet of his own.
“Sorry to tell you: Panama Papers are about corruption. We found an astonishing number of corruption cases in the documents – and all real” Bastian Obermayer tweeted back.
