Model Dani Mathers goes into the Hiding: Model Dani Mathers has been forced to put down at her mother’s house after receiving death intimidation online for body shaming a woman on social media.
The model found herself in difficulty with the law last year 2016 after secretly taking a photo of an old woman changing in a gym locker room and posting the shot on Snapchat.
Dani told the reckless caption: “If I can’t unsee this then you can’t either.”
She was charged with assault of privacy and was sentenced to community labour and trial last week (ends26May2017) after striking a plea deal with prosecutors.
The Model has now addressed the legal issue openly, insisting she had only planned to share the image secretly with a friend.
“I didn’t have an intention of breaking a law,” she told “I just wasn’t thinking, to be honest,
“My intention was to reply to the conversation I was having with my friend. I know the difference between right and wrong and I chose wrong.”
The image quickly went viral and encouraged critics to Model for cyber bullying, and threatened the Mathers life.
“To hide out at my mother’s house at age 30 because of something I’ve done – it just felt really low,” she tearfully admitted. “I had lost my privacy after taking privacy from somebody else.”
The model has tried to reach out to her dupe to personally apologize,
“I never meant to hurt her,” she added. “I never ever intended on showing the world this photo , I hope that she could forgive me. “I just want her to be able to move on and move forward in her life and not feel judged… and I’m so sorry.”
