Pakistan Ladies Amateur Golf Championship: 75 Female Golfers To Compete In 3-days Amateurs Event: On March 16th 2018 at Islamabad Golf Club (IGC), 75 women golfers from across the country including few foreign players are expected to feature in the 3rd edition of Pakistan Ladies Amateur Golf Championship.

Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) in collaboration with Federal Golf Association (FGA) is holding the annual event for which 75 female golfers have registered to participate. IGC will be welcoming international lady golfers to the event which will include Sonya Akther and Liza Akter from Bangladesh Golf Federation (BGF) and Phatsikarn and Thantita from Thailand. Zeenat Ayesha, Executive Committee Member PGF with her team of lady golfers from Islamabad Golf Club welcomed the participants and announced the plan of events for the following three days on Monday.

The championship will take place under the patronage of PGF while main sponsors are Serena, Saphire and L’Oreal. Air Blue is the official Travel Partners. The tournament is open to all ladies with registered handicaps with their respective clubs. There are five categories announced for the championship:

Category 1: Ladies Amateurs: Gold -H-cap 0-15, Silver — H cap 16-24, and Bronze H-cap 25-36.

Category 2: Girls: from 10 -15 year olds

Category 3: Senior Ladies

Category 4 : Invitees

Category 5 : Team Match

As per details, ladies from Karachi Golf Club, DHA Golf & Country Club Karachi, Gymkhana Lahore, Defense Raya Lahore, Lahore Garrison Golf Club, Royal Palm Country Golf Club, Margalla Greens Golf Club, Rawalpindi Golf Club and Wah PAF Golf Clubs of Pakistan will be competing for the coveted title.

Pakistan Golf Federation is authorized to promote and develop the game of Golf in Pakistan. To coordinate and manage the affairs of all the golfers of Pakistan belonging to and registered with the member Organizations and Golf Clubs, which would include male as well as female players of both amateur as well as professional status.
