Pakistan Ranked World’s Best Travel Destination For 2018: In this peak season of summer tourism there is a great news for Pakistan.
Pakistan is on the top of the world countries list for adventure travel destinations 2018. Quoting British Backpacker society’s research, CNN says not only the mountain scenery is beyond anyone’s wildest imagination, but the friendliness of the locals and the society will change every pre-conception that one ever held about Pakistan.
In 2017, an estimated 1.7 million foreigners visited Pakistan, which was two hundred thousand more than the previous year while for 2018, the bookings are up to 100 percent for Pakistan’s mountains and other tourist attractions.
Pakistan has been ranked the world’s top travel destination for 2018 describing Pakistan as “one of the friendliest countries on earth, with mountain scenery that is beyond anyone’s wildest imagination”. The British Backpacker Society announced the results, ranking the world’s top 20 adventure travel destinations for 2018, which also includes Russia, India, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan and China.
Pakistan is a beautiful country with exotic landscapes and rich culture. It has all the elements to be a great tourist spot, and tourism industry can bring in a lot of revenue. But to rope in tourists, we need proper infrastructure. Government should facilitate tourists and make improvements in terms of providing safety to local populace and foreigners who come as tourists. It could definitely be a stepping stone for Pakistan’s economy by becoming one of the most sought after tourist destinations around the world.
The Tourism Department of Pakistan should promote the beautiful scenic locations in the form of either ads or content that shows what these places have to offer to the masses. In addition, they should also organize activities and sports events to attract more tourists during holidays.
