Professor testifies in Mashal murder case: HumSub.TV: A lecturer of journalism at Abdul Wali Khan University appeared before a local magistrate on Friday and bluntly denied allegations of blasphemy which were leveled against Mashal Khan by his university fellows.
In his statement before the magistrate, Professor Ziaullah Hamdard said that he had never heard anything blasphemous from Mashal Khan.
“I know Mashal Khan from last two years and he was the topper of class. Abdullah and Zubair were also brilliant students of the class,” he said.
‘Mashal was a humanist, interested in socialism and was nationalist in political affiliations. He liked sophism and believed in philosophy of non-violence.”
The lecturer accused SSP Operation by saying that he could have saved Marshal’s life as he was present in university’s administration block but he preferred not to intervene in the matter, thus he neglected his duties.
