A census team was attacked on Tuesday in Charsadda’s Tangi district, injuring one policeman in the incident.
Constable Taj Muhammad sustained bullet injuries when the team was busy in collecting date for the head count in sixth national census.
The retaliatory fire by army personnel in the team wounded the assailant identified as Fakhr-e-Alam who was then taken into custody for further investigation. However, he succumbed to his injuries on his way to LHR Hospital.
