Ch. Nisar less Federal Cabinet will take oath today
The uncertainty regarding the federal cabinet is finally over as former federal Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan less federal cabinet will take oath today Friday.The cabinet members will be sworn in today by President Mamnoon Hussain.
According to the sources the new federal cabinet of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has been finalized by the senior leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
The credible sources have revealed that newly elected Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi would continue till 2018 and Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif will remain the CM Punjab till the end of due tenure of the government.
Sources said that PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Thursday held telephonic contacts with nominated ministers and informed of their portfolios.
Former Federal Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif would likely to get portfolio of foreign ministry and Khurram Dastgir Khan to get Defence ministry. Mushahid Ullah Khan will be the Environment Minister again. Ahsan Iqbal will be the successor to Chaudhry Nisar as he will take oath as the country’s new Interior Minister.Ishaq Dar will resume his responsibilities as the Finance Minister. Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, Irshad Laghari, Talal Ch, Abid Sher Ali Ch. Jaffar Iqbal would also be part of the new cabinet. It was worth mentioned here that former cabinet stood dissolved after Nawaz Sharif was disqualified by the Supreme Court of Pakistan in the Panama Papers case.
