Decision taken to set up state of art computer labs in girls educational institutions
Decision has been taken by Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Ministry to establish modern computer labs in 226 girl’s educational institutions of federal capital with the co-operation of IT Ministry.
According to media reports, teachers for these computer labs will be appointed on contract for three years that should be paid by IT Ministry while during this time period federal education directorate will make regular appointments of teachers during these three years.
Furthermore a pilot project of digital education with the co-operation of a private company is also being launched.
All expenditures regarding establishment of computer labs will be borne by ministry of information and technology .
The project for setting up computer labs in 119 educational institutions will be completed till October 2017.
Earlier this facility has been provided to 107 educational institutions in rural areas.
