Early elections in Pakistan demands Imran Khan

The chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Sunday demanded early election. He said that taking a fresh mendate was necessary to strengthen democracy in the state.
Khan was addressing a press conference in the federal capital.

Imran Khan claimed that Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was also allegedly involved in corruption in the LNG sector. He claimed that no one in the World can even think of making a disqualified individual the head on any political party.

In reaction a controversial statement by Foreign Minister Khwaja Asif in which Asif had said that Pakistan should bring its house in order in order to prevent facing emberrassment on the international level, Imran said “Did the government realise today that they have to bring their house in order?”

He questioned that why had the federal government not put the house in order since the last four years.

Imran Khan claimed that they [Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leaders] are giving a bad name to the Pakistan army.

He further claimed, “All political parties agreed on the National Action Plan.”

“We had no foreign minister when our policy towards Afghanistan was formulated,” he said.

Over the defeat of PTI in NA-120 by poll, Khan said that it was emberrassing that a disqualified person is still the leader of a party.

“It is saddening to hear Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi say that Nawaz is his PM.”

We are scared regarding the situation in the country, he said, adding that the country’s economy is in a harrowing condition.

Criticising the government, Imran said that no one has taken as many loans as the incumbent government. “More loans are being taken to repay previous debts.”
