Fawad Chaudhry says no money laundering allegations against Imran

The PTI loudmouth spokesman said that “People comparing the two cases should be ashamed,” he further added that cases against Imran Khan have no legal value.

“We have even submitted 40-year-old records,” Fawad added. “We have not called for any Qatari letter to come save us,” he remarked while taking a jibe at political rival Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s court.

“We have submitted details of banking transaction to the court,” he said.

The spokesman for the PTI added that cases against supreme leader Imran Khan would be thrown in the trash bin.

Earlier on Thursday, the Supreme Court had once again stated that the lawyer of the PTI had failed to give a satisfactory response in the Imran Khan disqualification case.

Hearing had been resumed for the petition of Hanif Abassi which seeked the disqualification of PTI Chairman Imran Khan.

The chief counsel of PTI, Naeem Bukhari had presented his arguments in front of a three member bench which was headed by Chief Justice Saqib Nisar and comprised of Justice Faisal Arab and Justice Umar Ata Bandial.

In his arguments the counsel for PTI Naeem Bukhari said that an email had been sent to the former wife of Imran Khan Jemima Khan.

Bukhari added that the former wife of the PTI leader had confirmed recieving 75,000 pounds, the counsel added that she will send out the details after finding them.

Justice Umar said that the documents do not prove that Imran Khan brought money back from London.

Meanwhile, Abbasi’s counsel Akram Sheikh said that the bank statement submitted by Imran is of May 19, 2017 although the case is years old.
