Governor Sindh returns bill on repeal of NAB ordinance to speaker provincial assembly for review

Governor Sindh has raised objection and returned to Sindh Assembly (SA) speaker a bill passed by provincial assembly on repeal of NAB ordinance

SA speaker had sent the bill to governor Sindh for his signatures after it was passed by the provincial assembly.

Governor Sindh has directed SA speaker that the bill be reviewed afresh and sent to him.
Law minister Sindh Zia ul Hassan Tajjar has said an alternative law with regard to accountability is being brought. Bill will be presented again in SA.

The bill on repeal of NAB ordinance was approved with majority vote in SA and as per this bill anti corruption department Sindh will take any action against any corruption and NAB will not be entitled to initiate any proceedings against corruption.
