Imran Khan Has Decided to Contest Elections from Karachi
Imran Khan Has Decided to Contest Elections from Karachi: The Chairman Pakistan Tehreek -i- Insaf Imran Khan will contest the election from Sindh’s capital Karachi. PTI central spokesperson Fawad Chaudhary said that Imran Khan has decided to contest elections from Karachi besides other constituencies of the Punjab and KPK.
After completion of discussion at party level, PTI will hold a public gathering in Karachi in March.
He added that various candidates have already been shortlisted for party tickets for 2018 general elections but the party will soon announce date for receiving applications from the candidates after deliberation among senior leaders.
He asserted that PTI would have won the general elections if polls were not rigged in 2013. The party had to face defeat because it was not prepared to halt rigging. However, now it has the largest number of experienced politicians. It is prepared to stop rigging and will not allow any political party to use unfair means for winning the general elections of 2018, he claimed.
Criticized the ruling party Pakistan Muslim League (N), PTI central spokesperson Fawad Chaudhary said that they have only 94 days left in government. The government is completing its term as mourning period of a widow because all ministers, including the Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, are blaming that agencies, establishment and judiciary are hatching conspiracies against them.
Fawad Chaudhary asked if the situation was as ugly as Khaqan Abbasi stated “After visiting Balochistan, Prime Minister had alleged that agencies are working against the government. State departments are not in the government control”, then why was the government still in power?
Imran Khan contested the general election in 2013 from Punjab and KPK. He will be contesting the general election from Karachi for the first time.
