Interior Minister says that India has showed cowardice by attacking innocent civilians at WB: Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal paid a visit to CMH Sialkot on Saturday. He met the injured of the cross border Indian firing and expressed his solidarity with them.

Mr Ahsan also condemned the unprovoked firing by the Indian forces. The firing had claimed six lives and injured 26, Iqbal had said that India had shown cowardice by attacking the innocent civilians living along the working Boundary.

Furthermore the interior minister added that the ceasefire violation by India was aimed at diverting the World’s attention away from the atrocities being carried out by the Indians in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.

Six civilians were martyred, including four women, whereas a total of 26 people, including 15 women and five children, were injured along the Working Boundary in Charwah and Harpal sectors, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) had said on Friday.

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had strongly condemned the incident and expressed deep grief and condolences with the bereaved families.

Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif had also condemned the killing of innocent civilians, and ordered the Sialkot district commissioner to establish relief camps for residents of border villages who are migrating towards safer land owing to the Indian shelling.
