Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Friday instructed all party workers to not share public forums and news platforms with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) leader Jawed Latif in reaction to him slandering female family members of PTI’s Murad Saeed.

Fight broke out between Jawed Latif and Murad Saeed on Thursday outside the National Assembly hall and was captured by cameras of media reporters.

Imran Khan barred PTI workers from sharing platforms with the PML-N leader on Friday through posts on Twitter: “No PTI rep will go on any TV chat show where Jawed Latif is invited. In any civilised country he would be banned from all public forums” and “Nor will our party members & leaders attend any public forum event where Jawed Latif is invited”.

Earlier, Imran Khan called Murad Saeed a “brave youngster” and added that he would have gone further had he been at Saeed’s place.

The National Assembly (NA) secretariat issued a notification to investigate the incident and submit the findings to NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq by March 16.

Ayaz Sadiq requested members of the parliament to show patience and called yesterday’s “shameful”.
