Lawyers Needs to Raise Voice Against Indian Brutalities

Lawyers Needs to Raise Voice Against Indian Brutalities: In AJK Supreme Court Bar Association oath taking ceremony it was stated that lawyers are the important segment of the society and their role for strengthening the peaceful and legitimate environment in the country is inevitable in the larger national interests. Prime Minister AJK Farooq haider khan, stated that leadership of Pakistan besides AJK belongs to lawyer’s community and their role for the independence of Pakistan was remarkable.

Lawyers in the State should raise their voice against the human rights violations in Indian occupied Kashmir, saying that provision of justice in any society is incomplete without the role of lawyers. Every Kashmiri living on both sides of Line of Control (LoC) admire the sacrifices of Maqbool Butt, Afzal Guru, Burhan Muzaffar Wani and several other martyrs as they sacrificed their lives only for freedom.

Pakistan is the only lawyer of Kashmir

Pakistan is the only lawyer for Kashmiris’ on international forums and politically stable and strong Pakistan can prove better for Kashmir freedom of movement. Lawyers in the State should inform international communities besides human rights organizations about Indian atrocities and deteriorating human rights violations in occupied Kashmir.

Prime Minister Azad Kashmir said that freedom movement of Kashmir has reached to a sensitive point and we need unity and consensus at this time. He urged that lawyers should cooperate with the government for the protection of the people and their rights.

 Lawyers Condemned Killing Of Christian Family

Lawyers and human rights activists in another event, have strongly condemned attack on Christian family who were killed in an attack in Quetta on 2nd April, 2018.

They stated in a press release that the seeds of extremism have penetrated too deep into the fabric of the Pakistani state and society. It will take a lot of effort to root out extremism. Minority’s problems should be solved and they should not be targeted and victimized in the name of their religious beliefs. Government must provide financial assistance to the victims family and arrest of culprits as soon as possible.
