A man allegedly killed his two children and committed suicide on Saturday in Punjab’s Burewala village.
The murderer identified as Muhammad Khalid reportedly killed his children of ages seven and nine with a sharp object and later committed suicide after his wife demanded divorce from him.
According to police, Khalid’s family knocked the door in the morning to serve him breakfast but broke it open when he had not responded for long. They found Khalid and his children dead on bed.
They added that Khalid’s wife had lately demanded divorce from him and had left home over domestic rifts despite Khalid’s efforts to reconcile.
