Maulana Fazal assures support to PML-N
Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman Friday assured PML-N of his complete support.
Talking to media persons here, he said his party was an ally of the PML-N and will be in the future. He commended Nawaz Sharif for accepting court’s verdict and preventing any crisis in the country.
Maulana Fazal expressed hope that PML-N will ensure continuity of democracy and democratic institutions. He said he will continue supporting PML-N as an ally.
He noted that efforts are being made to create political crisis in the country. He said opponents are of the view that they have won following the Supreme Court’s verdict to disqualify Nawaz Sharif. He said even legal experts are astonished on the basis Nawaz Sharif has been disqualified.
He was of the view that there would be pile of evidences against Nawaz Sharif but he (Nawaz) was disqualified on the basis of money, which he did not withdraw. He feared that current political situation will affect China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and other development projects. He said disqualification case and other related matter would be investigated by the NAB, adding the opponents have no trust in the institutions.
