Misbah-ul-Haq also notified the PCB about his availability for the Test series scheduled against West Indies and will lead Team Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) selection committee has decided to give the young emerging talent from Pakistan Super League (PSL) second edition a chance for West Indies tour from March 26 to May 14.

Per details, Islamabad United’s all-rounder Shadab Khan, Lahore Qalandar’s batsman Fakhar Zaman, Karachi Kings’ fast bowler Usman Khan and Quetta Gladiators’ all-rounder Hassan Khan are being considered for selection in Pakistan’s squad along with Asif Zakir and Usman Salahuddin from domestic circuit.

Sharjeel Khan is likely to be replaced by Ahmad Shahzad due to charges of spot fixing in PSL, while the best player of the PSL Kamran Akmal is also likely to make return.

The young players will receive training in camp starting from Tuesday during which they will be evaluated by head coach Mickey Arthur and selectors.
