Nawaz says his children will appear in court once the health of Kulsoom improves: Children will return form London and face the courts once health of wife improves, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif said on Sunday. The remarks were made by Nawaz Sharif when he visited the grave of his father with the Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on Sunday.

Nawaz also interacted with the party workers during his visit and he asked them to pray for the health of his wife, who is in London and is going through the treatment for lymphoma.Nawaz added that his children who are presently in London with their mother will come back and face the courts once the health of their mother is better.

Later in the day, the former premier left for Islamabad through plane to face the trial against him on Monday.

Sources have informed that Nawaz will also hold consultation meetings with his political aides along with legal ones on various issues in Islamabad.

According to reports Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) will also hold meeting of its central working committe and general council on Monday and Tuesday to appoint Nawaz Sharif as the president of the party after his removal from the office.

Last week, the PML-N managed to amend the Electoral Reforms Bill 2017 in the opposition-controlled Senate in favour of Nawaz’s bid to become the party president. The bill will now be taken up by the Lower House of Parliament, where the PML-N holds a majority, on Monday.
