NOC of seven Corporate Housing societies cancelled
The District Administration Islamabad claimed to have cancelled the NOC of seven Corporate Housing Societies located in Islamabad for violating Corporate Society Act 1925.
The NOC of seven Corporate Housing Societies were canceled after they failed to yield reply to the final show -cause notice issued to them in April and were asked to respond till June. Registrar Corporate Housing Societies Islamabad Mohammad Ali issued several notices to the seven Corporate Housing Societies for deliberately delaying the development works on the projects and sought reply from them. But no reply was received from these societies.
The NOC of following housing societies have been cancelled, which include Real Garden Corporate Housing Society, NADRA Employees Corporate Housing Society, Christan Multipurpose Corporate Housing Society, Balistan Corporate Housing Society, Ahbab Multipurpose Corporate Housing Society and Islamic University Staff Corporate Housing Society.
According to sources, the District Administration Islamabad has also decided to auction the assets of Corporate Housing Societies and distribute the relevant amount among the affectees.
Circle Registrar Mazhar Ali said that warning letter and notices were issued several times to housing societies, however, they violated act 1925 several times upon which their NOC were canceled.
