Pak Army’s Museum in Rawalpindi opens to overwhelming patriotic response

The Pakistan Army on Monday opened its Rawalpindi Museum to the public on the event of the country’s 71st Independence Day according to reports.

Throngs of patriotic citizens swarmed the museum, which has on display numerous attractions, including a list of martyrs, Nishan-e-Haider gallery, and Kashmir Corner.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the visitors showed immense interest in the military’s history, which, it explained, has been recorded and chronicled safely. ISPR added that viewing the items on display helps reignite and strengthen the feeling of patriotism in Pakistanis.

The museum also has special areas dedicated to those army officers who fought and lost their lives to terrorism, Kashmir corner, a gallery devoted to the recipients of Nishan-e-Haider, and a Pakistan-India War Story corner.
