Pakistan And Australia Second Test Match Begins TomorrowThe second of the two Test series between Pakistan and Australia begins from Tuesday in Abu Dhabi.

Green shirts already took to the field ahead of the match under the watchful eye of head coach Mikey Arthur. Players undertook special batting, bowling and fielding drills. The first Dubai Test between the two teams ended in a draw.

Coach Mikey Arthur talking to media in Abu Dhabi said Australia proved to be more resilient than we expected. He said, though we bowled and batted flawlessly, we did not make the most of wicket on day-five of the match.

Coach Arthur said, we will be more than ready for Australia in the second test. He said, Imam ul Haq is in form batsman and his absence will be felt by the team.

Chief selector of Pakistan cricket team Inzimam ul Haq hoped that national team will improve their performance against Australia in second Test.

He said that Pakistan will improve their bowling batting and fielding against the Aussies. Talking to media after planting a sapling in the clean and green Pakistan drive in Lahore chief selector said that young players will performance is main thing for Pakistan.

Pakistan’s opening batsmen Imam ul Haq underwent surgery on fifth finger of his left hand in a local hospital in Dubai. Pakistan Cricket Board spokesman said that the surgery went smoothly and the batsman is back to his hotel room and will fly back home on Tuesday from Dubai.

Imam sustained injury on his hand while fielding on the 5th day of the first Test against Australia which ended in a draw.  Imam has been ruled out of action from the remaining part of the ongoing Pakistan series against Australia due to the finger injury.

Pakistan’s fast bowler Mohammad Abbas has gained eight places to reach a career-best 13th position in latest ICC test ranking. For Pakistan, Mohammad Hafeez has re-entered the ranking at 45th place after marking his return to Test cricket with a century. Asad Shafiq up five places to 20th spot and Harris Sohail up 17 slots to 57th position while Imam-ul-Haq up 22 places to 88th place after first Test against Australia.
