Pakistan Navy Has Appointed Ahmed Fauzan With The Rank of Rear Admiral: Rear Admiral Ahmed Fauzan was appointed in Weapon Engineering Branch of Pakistan Navy in 1986. He has been promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral with immediate effect due to his illustrious career serving on various Command and Staff appointments. Currently, Rear Admiral Ahmed Fauzan is serving as Commandant PNS KARSAZ, Karachi and he will take over as Director General Maritime Technologies Complex on 16th March 18.

His distinguished Staff appointments include General Manager Maritime Technologies Complex (North), Fleet Weapon Engineering Officer to Commander Pakistan Fleet, General Manager (Support & Services) PN Dockyard, Director Naval Weapon & Equipment and Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Technical) at Naval Headquarters Islamabad.

Weapon Engineering Branch is directed to give training on operations and maintenance of ship borne communication equipment, sensors and combat systems. Modern warfare is based on dictating a need to have a competent and well trained manpower and is fully integrated weapon suites comprising of weapons, sensors and Command and Control systems.

Rear Admiral is a graduate of Pakistan Navy War College and National Defence University (NDU) Islamabad. Rear Admiral Ahmed Fauzan also holds Master’s Degree in Real Time Electronic Systems from UK. In credit of his commendable services, Rear Admiral Ahmed Fauzan has been awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military).

Weapon Engineering Branch is directed to give training on operations and maintenance of shipborne communication equipment, sensors and combat systems. Modern warfare is based on dictating a need to have a competent and well trained manpower and is fully integrated weapon suites comprising of weapons, sensors and Command and Control systems. Accordingly, WE School aims at technical and professional grooming of Pakistan Navy’s CPOs/Sailors; ensuring effective combat readiness. The labs available at the School are equipped with state of the art equipment, trainers and simulators to provide hands on training to PN personnel.
