Pakistan Team Acquires 3 Medals In Ju-Jitsu C’ship
Pakistan Team Acquires 3 Medals In Ju-Jitsu C’ship: Pakistan secured 2 silver and a bronze medal in the Thailand Open Ju-Jitsu Championship 2018 that is being held in Bangkok from June 8 to 10.
Pakistani athletes Dilawar Khan Sannan and Muhammad Ali Rasheed attained silver medal in Duo Show Men category, while Dilawar Khan Sannan and Fatima Irfan secured Bronze medal in Duo Show Mix category, said a press release issued here.
Dilawar and Ali also got silver in Duo Classic Men Category. This was the first time Pakistan team including Riasat Mahmood, Dilawar Khan Sannan, Muhammad Ali Rasheed and Fatima Irfan participated in this event.
President Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Federation (PJJF) Khalil Ahmed Khan congratulated the team on winning medals for the country. The team will return back to Pakistan on June 12.
By the grace of Allah Almighty, our young players made the mark and attained Silver medal,” said the President Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Federation (PJJF), Khalil Ahmed Khan while extended his congratulations to these young players who made the nation proud.
“PJJF continues its path of success as till now in all events whenever they participate either in token or full, they are returning home with lauds. All the Ju-Jitsu community in Pakistan extended its warm greetings on this achievement by the PJJF’s young pair,” he added.
Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Federation(PJJF) is the official governing body for Sports of Ju-Jitsu,Belt-Wrestling, Traditional Kodokan Judo in Pakistan.
