Pakistani Investors Are Invited To Attend Logistics, Auto Exhibitions In Chongqing China: Pakistani investors, industrialists and business men are invited by the Chairman of China’s Chongqing city department for international trade (CCPIT) Mr. He Yi to attend global logistics exhibition and 16th Motor Cycle Expo this year. He gave this invitation to Pakistan’s Consul General, Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, in Chengdu.  CCPIT started functioning in 1952 and is a national foreign trade and investment promotion agency.

In the meeting between He Yi and Mudassir Tipu, the need to deepen and expand trade and investment cooperation between Pakistan and Chongqing was emphasized.

China wants to strengthen trade ties with Pakistan. CCPIT, in order to promote business relations with Pakistan, is inviting Pakistani companies to participate in China-Chongqing International Logistics Exhibition being held in May as well as 16th Motor Cycle Expo that would be held in September.

CCPIT added that Pakistani business law companies may propose ways of co-operation with counterparts in Chongqing in their visit.

Counselor General assured CCPIT Chairman of Pakistan’s government full support in strengthening Chongquing legal framework, adding that as a result of CPEC and Gwadar, the business of logistics was witnessing tremendous growth in Pakistan. It has been declared by Goldman Sachs that Pakistan is one of the N-11 (Next Eleven countries) having potential to become one of the world’s largest economies in the 21st century. He further added that Pakistan is passing through a massive economic transformation and becoming regional hub for connectivity, transportation, oil and gas supply lines.

Pakistan would like Chongqing to be the venue for 2019 Single-Country Exhibition that was proposed by Commercial Counsellor of the Consulate, Haroon Masood, at the meeting. CCPIT Chairman warmly greeted the suggested proposal and assured that Chongqing Metropolis will cover best possible cooperation to Pakistan to successfully hold 2019 Single-Country Exhibition.
