Portugal Hosting World Corporate Golf Challenge: Pakistan’s corporate golf team will participate in the World Final of the 2018 edition in Portugal.
The World Finals of the World Corporate Golf Challenge will take place in the city of Cascais in Portugal.
Pakistan’s golf team has shown good performances in the past events, as they finished runner-up in the World Final of 2016 and 2017.
This year’s tournament will be highly extensive as National winners from 30 countries will represent their respective nations in Portugal.
In the Amateur Golf World Cup in Mauritius which was held earlier this month, Pakistan finished sixth at the international event.
“We are hopeful to again perform well in the World Final 2018. The team is well prepared for the World Final 2018”, stated WCGC Pakistan chairman Wing Commander (retd) I N Khokhar.
World Corporate Golf Challenge is taking place between June 20 to June 24 2018.
WCGC is making significant in-roads into achieving its long-term objectives, most significantly with a considerable amount of new nations taking part in the year-long concept and the World Final.
Last few years have been a period of significant development for the WCGC, building on the success of the previous years and World Finals in Scotland, Sotogrande, Spain, and Cascais, Portugal. The World Final continues to be broadcast by Golfing World TV to over 50 broadcasters with an estimated home reach of 350 million globally. The World Final continues to be covered by Time and Fortune magazines.
Legendary golfer Manuel Pinero, Ronan Rafferty, Simon Holmes, Jeremy Dale and Luis Figo will all be resent at this year’s World Final in Cascais, Portugal.
In order to qualify, it is anticipated that Licensees will organize around 150 national qualifying events that attract over 7,500 business executives globally.
