Quetta Killings Continues

Quetta Killings Continues: Four Paramilitary Frontier Corps Men were martyred in Quetta on March 1st, Wednesday evening while seven others got severely injured in a suicide bomb attack. The incident that resulted in badly damaging the check post, took place some 30 km from the West of Quetta, in the area of Nosahar where the FC has established various check posts to keep an eye on the movement of extremist elements.

An official report by the security personnel stated that a suicide attacker entered the check post and blew himself up when more than 12 FC soldiers were present in there at the time of blast. Rescue operation immediately took place after the explosion by the FC troops deployed at other check posts in the area and shifted injured and bodies to a government hospital. No terrorist group has claimed the responsibility of the attack so far.

Sources shared the details of the victims of suicide bombing as Muhammad Aamir, Muhammad Imran, Javed Ahmed and Muhammad Rashid.

In another incident, the car of Deputy Superintendent of Police Hameedullah Dasti was fired by unknown attackers martyring two policemen on Sumungli Road Quetta while DSP Dasti remained safe in the attack. As per official details, the attack took place when DSP Dasti was on his way to office in a double-cabin vehicle with his four guards. Out of those four, two policemen got hit by the terrorist fire. DSP Dasti told the media sources that he was getting threats from banned groups on some important cases he has been working  and was visiting the court to pursue the hearing in that regard.

The attack was strongly condemned by the CM Balochistan Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo with an order of an immediate inquiry. Quetta has been on a high alert due to terror threats for the past ten days and a ban has been imposed on pillion riding.
