Record Tampering case: Chairman SECP granted bail before arrest till July 21st
Central Special Judge of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has granted bail to Chairman Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Zafar Hijazi before his arrest in record tampering case till July 21st.
Special judge central Tariq Mehmood has also issued orders to SECP Chairman for filing two surety bonds worth Rs 2, 50,000 each.
Earlier on July 11 Islamabad High Court (IHC ) had accepted interim bail plea of Zafar Hijazi till July 17.
It is vital to mention here that JIT probing Sharif Family offshore companies had alleged that Chairman SECP was involved in record tampering of Chaudhry Sugar Mills after which Supreme Court has issued directives to FIR for investigation of allegations leveled against Hijazi and submission of report thereof before it.
