South Africa To Host Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe Cricket Matches: Cricket South Africa have announced the schedule for the 2018-19 season that will witness Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, with the focus on One-Day Internationals ahead of the World Cup next year.

South Africa is ranked second in the world in tests and ODIs, but only 6th in Twenty20 Internationals (T20I). South Africa will host a total of 13 one-day internationals and 9 Twenty20 Internationals against Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe from September 2018 onwards till March 2019.

Matches With Pakistan

Pakistan is touring South Africa for the first time since 2013.

Test Match

The first test will be played in Pretoria from Dec. 26th – 30th, in Cape Town  from Jan. 3rd – 7th and in Johannesburg from Jan. 11th -15th

One Day Internationals (ODIs)

The sides will also clash in 5 ODIs and three Twenty20 Internationals that will follow the test series.

Matches With Zimbabwe

The sides will also be involved in a series of five ODIs and three Twenty20 fixtures that will finish on Mar. 24.

Zimbabwe will play three one-day internationals and three Twenty20 internationals at some of South Africa’s smaller cricket venues.

There will be a just a week’s break before the end of Pakistan’s tour and the arrival of Sri Lanka for tests in Durban

Matches With Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka will play Tests in Durban and Port Elizabeth in February that will be followed by five one-day internationals and three Twenty20 internationals.

January 3-7: Second Test, Cape Town

January 11-15 : Third Test, Johannesburg

January 19: First one-day international, Port Elizabeth

January 22: Second one-day international, Durban

January 25: Third one-day international, Centurion

January 27: Fourth one-day international, Johannesburg

January 30: Fifth one-day international, Cape Town

February 1: First Twenty20 International, Cape Town

February 3: Second Twenty20 International, Johannesburg

February 6: Third Twenty20 International, Centurion

Sri Lanka in South Africa

February 13-17: First Test, Durban

February 21-25: Second Test, Port Elizabeth

February 28: SA Invitation XI, Benoni

March 3: First one-day international, Johannesburg

March 6: Second one-day international, Centurion

March 10: Third one-day international, Durban

March 13: Fourth one-day international, Port Elizabeth

March 16: Fifth one-day international, Cape Town

March 19: First Twenty20 international, Cape Town

March 22: Second Twenty20 international, Centurion

March 24: Third Twenty20 international, Johannesburg.

The scheduled 13 one-day internationals during the season would enable the national teams to fine tune their preparations for the 2019 Cricket World Cup in England.
