Veteran Fatima Sughra of the Pakistan movement dies at 86
Fatima Sughra had been known for her courageous personality. She was the student who had hoisted Pakistan Muslim League’s flag after pulling down the Union Jack from the Lahore Secretariat building.
In recognition of her services to the independence of Pakistan, Sughra had been awarded the Life Achievement Award by the government of Pakistan.
