Zardari Claims Nawaz Sharif Got Political Asylum In UK: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari has claimed that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has got political asylum in London.

In an interview with private TV, Asif Ali Zardari said he wanted to see his son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as prime minister, however, Bilawal would also learn while sitting on opposition benches.

Former president said whether Shahbaz Sharif run fast or slow, Mian Sahab (Nawaz Sharif) would receive vote and Mian Sahab’s vote would be shifted to her daughter Maryam Nawaz.

To a question, Zardari said he would have no complain with Chaudhry Nisar but with Nawaz Sharif.

Talking about Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) new president, he said “whether Shahbaz Sharif run fast or slow”, vote bank belongs to the former prime minister and it will be then shifted to his daughter Maryam Nawaz.

Moreover, the PPP co-chairman said that he never spoke about a coalition with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Nawaz Sharif is currently in London to attend ailing wife, Begum Kulsoom Nawaz. The accountability court had said it would announce its verdict in the Avenfield case on July 6.

However, Nawaz has said that the accountability court should delay announcing the verdict in the Avenfield case till he returns to Pakistan.

Zardari while speaking on the recent action by the National Accountability Bureau, he said that the probe authority has been ineffective in Sindh as since ’30 years it has been holding him accountable’.

Nawaz Sharif requested the accountability court to delay the verdict in the Avenfield reference case.

I am not a dictator who will run away from the courts,” he said, while speaking to the media outside Harley Clinic. “My wife has been on a ventilator since the last 21 days. I want to hear the verdict in the court room where I have presented myself with my daughter over 100 times.”

Earlier today, Maryam Nawaz also remarked that she is willing to go to prison to pay the high price of the path she has taken. When asked if she is ready to go to prison, she remarked: “I am absolutely ready.
