1lac visa stamping stickers from Saudi authorities received by Pakistan: Visa stamping stickers have been sent by Saudi authorities to Pakistan in order to address the problems which were being faced by Pakistani pilgrims in obtaining visas for performing Umrah.
Media reports suggest that Saudi government has sent 1,00,000 visa stamping stickers to Karachi and Islamabad in order to solve the difficulties of Umrah pilgrims are likely to be allayed to considerable extent.
The non availability of these stickers more than 55,000 Pakistani Umrah pilgrims could not leave for Saudi Arabia to perform their Umrah. While many of the pilgrims had to cancel their hotel bookings and flights due to the non availability of these stickers.
After taking notice of the issue the Saudi authorities had sent visa stamps to Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi in order to facilitate the people.
