Angered Dar resorts to personal attacks on Imran
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and the younger son of the PM Hasan Nawaz appeared on Monday before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT), which is probing the Sharif family’s business dealings abroad, the duo complained of being victimized despite ‘their hands being clean’.
In his maide appearance before the JIT, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, slammed Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, Mr Dar termed Mr Imran a “liar” and also challenged him to present himself for accountability.
During the press conference outside the Federal Judicial Academy in his address he frequently resorted to personal attacks on the PTI chief in his speech.
Mr Dar claimed that the government of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz had not commited a single penny of corruption in its present tenure of four years.
Son of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Hasan Nawaz, who had appeared for a third time before the JIT, said that he asked the JIT to clearly tell him about his fault and reasons behind incessant hearings.
While addressing to the media at FJA after a 2 hour and 45 minutes long appearance, Hasan had claimed that he had answered all the questions which were posed by JIT. He said that the court’s proceedings had ended while the probe is still underway.
He added that “The authorities only want to put pressure on PM Nawaz by calling his children” he said that they have presented all the relevant data to the investigation team.
