COAS says sacrifice of Burhan Wani is a testimony against Indian atrocities
Pakistan Army Chief on the first death anniversary of Kashmiri rebel fighter, Burhan Wani, has stated that the sacrifices by Wani along with many generations are testimony of their resolve against Indian brutalities.
In his message the COAS Qamar Bajwa asserted that the Kashmiris have the right of self determination.
Azad Jammu and Kashmi Prime Minister Raja Haider had earlier paid his tribute to Burhan Wani, he had stated that the freedom of Indian Held Kashmir will be lead by Burhan Wani’s death.
In Indian Held Kashmir, Wani had become an icon for freedom fighters in Indian Held Kashmir especially on social media.
Burhan Wani, was a 22 year old commander of the restive region’s largest rebel group, Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), Wani during a brief gun battle with Indian forces had been killed along with two other rebels.
Burhan Wani’s funeral had been attended by Tens of thousands of mourners.
