Pakistan government has decided to build “The CPEC Tower” in Islamabad as a symbol of Pakistan-China friendship.
According to Mister for Planning, Development and Reforms Ahsan Iqbal, the tower will be the tallest building in the federal capital, will attract investors and serve as an emblem of socioeconomic progress in Pakistan.
The decision was taken on Monday in a meeting chaired by Ahsan Iqbal at Planning Commission in Islamabad that was attended by senior officials from the ministry and related departments.
“Committee should sit with relevant departments to resolve issues of building codes and regulations” said Iqbal. “CPEC tower should be equipped with state of the art hotel, office spaces, commercial spaces and modern facilities.”
