For the fourth time Hussain Nawaz appears before the JIT: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s elder son Hussain Nawaz, , on Saturday, 03rd, May, 2017, Has appeared for the fourth time in front of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) which was constituted by the Supreme Court to probe the Panama Papers case.
Hussain Nawaz arrived at the Federal Judicial Academy, where the secretariat of the JIT has been set up, the Prime Minister’s son came in tight security and was flanked by PML-N leaders. Hanif Abbasi, Sajjad Khan, Deputy Mayor Zeeshan Naqvi and State Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry also reached at the academy.
JIT was ordered by the supreme court to complete its probe within 60 days and had framed 13 questions which are being investigated and answered.
On the previous day, his younger brother, Hassan Nawaz, had appeared before the JIT for the first time in order to defend the money trail of the Sharifs’ London properties. A seven hour long session was conducted by the JIT with Hassan Nawaz.
Earlier when Hussain Nawaz had emerged from the JIT secretariat after his previous appearance, he had claimed that there was no evidence of any wrongdoing or illegality committed by him, his father, brother and sister.
There is no information on what Hussain will be questioned on during today’s appearance before the JIT.
The proceedings of the JIT which has been set up to examine the business dealings of the Sharif family abroad is being monitored by the apex court on a fortnightly basis.
