Funeral prayers of the Frontier Constabulary (FC) soldier killed in two attempted suicide attacks on FC training centre in Charsadda’s Shabqadar district were offered on Friday.

The funeral prayers of the martyred soldier identified as Lance Naik Naeemullah were offered at FC Headquarters in Peshawar.

Charsadda District Police Officer Sohail Khalid stated that two suicide bombers were killed during apt retaliation by FC troops, while the injured soldier was rushed to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Shabqadar for medical aid.

A statement issued by the military’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations read that the bid to attack the training centre was foiled and both the suicide bombers were gunned down.

The attacked FC training centre is located on the junction of Mohmand Agency and Ayesha Korona area of Charsadda district.
