India decides to release 39 Pakistani prisoners on March 1

NEWS DESK: India announced on Tuesday to release 39 Pakistani prisoners including 18 fishermen on March 1.

According to Indian newspaper, 21 prisoners have served out their sentence in India and their nationalities have been confirmed.

The decision comes one month after Pakistan Army handed over as a gesture of goodwill an Indian soldier, Sepoy Chandu Babulal Chohan, who had surrendered to Pakistan Army after willfully crossing the Line of Control in Kashmir region.
